Corruption-per-capita in India and Pakistan

Corruption-per-capita in India and Pakistan

Author: bilal ahmed

I would like to know about the capital worth of corruption, it's almost difficult for me to present or even predict accurate statistics of capital linking with corruption in India and Pakistan therefore, in proxy to addressing same issue my efforts could at least indentify the degree, sensitiveness, magnitude and velocity of corruption in both nations.

Corruption and violence both are forename of bad-governance, it identifies the existences of "implementation-discrepancy" within system, it also rationalize that, how much capable the society to establish the sovereignty-of-law, it also explains that, the common individuals to ruling-elite both doesn't carry the regard of nationalism and national-interest govern by self-interest, it also demonstrates that, the society has lost its social and ethical values because the consistent degree of morality leads the society in restoration of well-mannered sociology. As its established consensus that, morality could lead the good-governance and would incorporate the strengthen consequence in achieving the development goals.

"Resources recognized that, 1400 billion USD by Indian while, 200 billion USD by Pakistani rulers has been deposited in Swiss Banks".

So, if we took the in-depth analysis of this 1400+200 which would be 1600 billion USD this would generate many understanding.

Algebra of both figures describe that, India has seven times more corruption than Pakistan, I think it wouldn't be the correct way to analyze because there are many other indicators are connected to this scrutiny.

Population of India is 1.21 billion and if we distribute the 1400 billion USD to each Indian this would be equal to 1,157 USD I would like to titled this as "corruption-per-capita" of India. While currently per capita income of an Indian is 1,250 USD. This would enforce me to say that at around one year income of every Indian has been invested into corruption account.

If we suppose to distribute same 1400 billion USD to only poor individuals (645 millions) falling within definition of poverty-line, this would be 2,170 USD which is around double of their per capita income or it's equal to two years income of poor individual, technically it could be titled as "poverty-corruption-per-capita" of India.

Now come-up in corruption-basket of Pakistan, the corruption-per-capita of Pakistan is 1,176 USD which is at least some units larger than same Indian number while the current per capita income of a Pakistani is 1,050 USD this shows how relative corruption capital is greater than the income of all Pakistanis one year income. Whereas, the "poverty-corruption-per-capita" for Pakistan is 1,960 USD which is around double to the per capita income and it is relatively lesser to the same number of India. Finally the figures are almost identical when we take the aggregate effects of both countries.

Both the nations has almost similar culture and human mentality, results describes the similarity in both the state that at least one year income of common individual has been invested in corruption in India and Pakistan. This is the simple Swiss Bank economics of Indo-Pak corruption. I would argue here the role of good governance; this blackmoney is the capital worth of only one segment of both the societies, which has the ability to reflect privileged probability of embedded corruption in both sides.

Within this situation, how the transactions of sustainable development could be possible, Development of any economy needs the consistent policy implementation by instrument of good governance. I would further argue that, the bad governance with the deprive civil-cum-economic justice, equality and freedom than how state could recognized the rights of common individual in presence of highly corrupt establishment and how it could restore the Human Development Index.

1400 billion USD is around five times greater than foreign reserves of India or it is around 39 years financing of Indian military at rate of 36 billion USD per year or it is 4.5 times greater to the debt (306 billion USD) on India. Mumbai needs around 40 billion USD for an excellent infrastructure or around 35 Mumbai could be developed-able by 1400 billion USD. Emerging economy of India needs energy requirement by utilizing 1400 billion USD it could subsidies more than 20 years energy demand.

While 200 billion USD is equal to 12.5 times of foreign reserves of Pakistan or it is 31 years financing to Pakistani military at rate of 6.5 billion USD per year or it is around 3.4 times greater to the debt (60 billion USD) on Pakistan. Currently Pakistan facing energy shortage for combating same it needs around 15 billion USD for the construction of Kalabagh dam or by same amount thirteen dam could be construct-able. Railway of Pakistan could be graciously modernized by just in 25 billion USD with connectivity of whole SARRC region. Karachi city needs just 25 billion USD for an excellent infrastructure or by 200 billion USD government of Pakistan could develop eight Karachi. Official reconstruction and recovery of Flood 2010 in Pakistan required around 25 billion USD inclusive loss assistance or by Swiss money Pakistan can face eight parallel floods of 2010 finally the war on terror has ten years length and loss of around 68 billion USD or the by utilizing 200 billion USD Pakistan can manage the three war on terror.

How the capital worth of corruption in both nations and policymakers may need to take this opportunity seriously it needs policy of honesty and integrity. I would need to address the common people of both countries that create the solid demand of development and regret the corrupt individual there is need to exercise their share in reaching transparency.
