7 Tips to Choosing a Good Home Water Cooler Supplier

This can make choosing very difficult! Thankfully there are a few criteria you can look for to help you make a decision.
1. Do they provide regular sanitation?
Water coolers that are not regularly sanitised quickly get dirty and un-hygienic, sometimes you'll even see algae growing inside the water bottles! Ask any potential supplier if they provide a regular sanitation service.
2. Do they deliver frequently?
Without a frequent delivery schedule you'll find yourself running out of water, so find out what the delivery schedule is.
3. Do they provide a range of choices?
If you don't have a mains supply you'll need a bottled water cooler, check to see if the supplier has a range of different models, if they don't you might not be able to use their particular model.
4. Do they provide a free, no-obligation, trial?
You might find that having a dispenser in your office isn't right for you, why not find out before committing to a contract.
5. Do they install the equipment for you?
Installing a water cooler can be a very tricky job! Especially installing a mains-fed unit (also called a plumbed in water cooler). Find out if they provide an installation service.
6. Where do they get their supply from?
Not all water is the same; find out who they get theirs from, what the composition is and if it meets regulatory requirements. Always better to be safe than sorry!
7. Are they a member of an industry body or organisation?
Members of organisations such as the British Water Cooler Association (BWCA) are more likely to provide a better service because they have to meet strict guidelines on sanitation, quality, professional training and environmental practices. Companies belonging to an established and credible association are also more likely to be legit.
Buying a water cooler for your home is a convenient and healthy choice but you have to do market assessment before signing a binding contract. Take some time to do your homework so you can end up with the best deal around. Then you can reward yourself and your family by enjoying cool, fresh water in your home each day.
