Another recipe includes 2 teaspoons of flour, 1 cup of water, and red food color.
The second recipe listed looks really good on any kind of white cloth or sheets if you want to go that route.The consistency will be not as thick as the others.
A more in depth recipe calls for the use of 1 quart of white corn syrup, 1 level tsp zinc oxide, 2 oz ehler red food color, 5 tsp ehler yellow food color, 2 oz kodak photo-flo, and finally 2 oz of water.
The instructions to make fake blood are going to come from the more in depth recipe in order to get the best color. This will allow the blood to be movie quality and more realistic. You are going to want to put the zinc oxide into some kind of container that is relatively big. The next step involves putting equal amounts of water and paste inside the bowl to get a smooth liquid consistency. You are now ready to add the food coloring.
The food coloring can be found at any local grocery store or convenient store. In order get a darker color for the blood you may want to add some blue food coloring as well.
You are now ready to add a small amount of corn syrup into the container and mix well. Pour the remaining corn syrup into the container and mix again. Now add the amount of water specified and mix until you get the desired consistency.
You should store the extra amount of the recipe in a refrigerator in order to keep from going bad.
A final recipe for fake blood uses 6 egg shells, 1/2 cup of strawberry yogurt, 1/3 cup of cottage cheese, 4 squirts of red food coloring, 1/2 cups of maple syrup. Any generic brand of syrup will work. The syrup allows the blood to flow and gives it the necessary thickness for the blood. You are also going to need 3 tablespoons of corn syrup.
A medium saucepan is needed to pour the contents into and for mixing. Crack open the eggs and mix it with the yogurt until it is a smooth liquid consistency. Now add the cottage cheese along with the maple syrup and corn syrup. Mix the ingredients until it is an even consistency. You are now ready to heat over a burner for 15 minutes. Add the food coloring into the saucepan and mix well. Once you are done mixing you should cover the contents in order to preserve the consistency.
Any of the recipes will be sufficient for creating fake blood. It is up to you on which method you choose.
