Creating A Great Party Atmosphere With The Right Lights
By Edwin M. LeyvaWhen planning a party event, there are several things that you need to take into careful consideration. This includes picking the right DJ and the right music to get liven the mood of your party, whether you’re having it at home, in your club or other locations. Getting the right DJ and music will certainly help keep your guests or customers entertained.
However, aside from getting the right kind of music, you should also consider purchasing or renting party lights to improve the mood of the party that you’re setting up. By adding the right set of lights to the music that the DJ is playing, you will be able to establish a stylish party atmosphere, as well as provide a sense of decoration onto the area. Here some things that you might want to consider when getting party lights:
1. Black lights – one thing that you can choose to get for your party light needs is a black light. The bulb is covered with a dark blue colored material which filters out visible light. However, there will still be minute visible lights that may pass through the filter, allowing certain surfaces to glow.
2. Party lights – decorations add to the party atmosphere. You can surely create something from balloons and streamers, but setting up party lights can have a great impact on the party atmosphere. You can try setting up some El Tape around certain areas of your party venue and illuminate certain spots, or you can set up some glowing El wire kits around posts and other areas.
3. LED moving heads – if you want to create different light effects, then setting up LED moving heads for your party is a sure way to achieve it. These light equipments can rotate, and move up and down, throwing colored lights to different parts of the area. The standard colors that LED moving heads have are blue, red and green which are then combined to create different light color effects.
4. LED par cans – when giving focus to a stage or a certain area in your party venue, LED par cans are the best choice to get. They can provide colors to large areas in your party venue or the stage that you want to highlight. Compared to regular par can lights that are being sold, they function at a lower temperature. This means that LED par cans have lesser chances of overheating and causing burn injuries when the surface is touched.
5. DMX Controller – in order to create a more intense party atmosphere, it would be great if the lights can synchronize with the music being played by the DJ. Manually, this task would seem difficult to accomplish if not impossible. However, by having a DMX controller, you can have your lights automated to function in different sequence or follow a specific program. With the use of a computer and by connecting each lighting equipment to the system, it can enable the DJ to control the lights together with the music.
