The next time that you're getting your oil changed or doing some other kind of routine maintenance on your vehicle, watch the other customers closely as they go in for major work. You'll probably get accustomed to seeing a blank, deer-in-the-headlights expression on their faces as they are told what needs to be done and how much it's going to cost. Many drivers don't even really realize what they're paying for. They nod and grunt and act as if they understand, but they seldom do. Don't be one of those customers. Ask as many questions as it takes to fully understand what is being done to your vehicle. Transmission repair is extensive and expensive. You deserve to know what's going on.

Listen and Be Observant
