Here are 10 ways to get more traffic to your blog.
1. Make comments on blogs with similar topics. Link your blog posts to other blogs. Many bloggers will automatically link back to you using trackbacks. However due to the number of spams, some bloggers do not support trackbacks.
2. Write articles and send them to directories and ezine publishers. Put your information and place a link to your blog on the resource box.
3. Submit your blog to Blog Carnival. A Blog Carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs. If you have articles featured on the front page, you will enjoy a spike in new readers.
4. Put a signature file with a link to your blog and a tagline on all your outgoing emails. You can set up the signature file on your email client.
5. Participate actively in forums and newsgroups. Leave comments in the forums and newsgroups with your signature file containing a link to your blog.
