A job is a starting point in life and should for most people, be just a way to get some money together and some life experience. My personal opinion is most people or at least a majority should have their own income created under the power of their own steam, in other words their own business.
When you work in a job you are not engaged. You are present but the power to act is in other peoples control, your boss and the managers. You are simply a pawn for them to move around while they get the work done. This dis-engagement can be stifling for most people.

The thing about that dollar is that you made it. In a business transaction of some sort. That being the case, that extremely valuable commodity, power, is in your own hands. If you devised a way to make just a single dollar under your own steam, there in that act of self emancipation is the seed of a fortune. Using leverage you can create multiple streams of income easily. $100 dollars an hour or even much more is not unusual for the owner of a business. $10 dollars an hour is the typical wage for the workers in the business.
