Over the years, changes in the general composition of food have changed, even the natural ones. Some foods can be good for your health and some are not. To live a healthy life, you must know what foods are good for you. Here is a list of some of the best and healthiest foods on earth:

1. Cow's Milk

Milk is one of the major sources of calcium that helps build strong bones and teeth. It regulates muscle contraction and makes your blood flow normally. It is also a source for vitamin D and vitamin K which make your bones healthy. Milk from grass-fed cows contains a lot of fatty acids called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which prevents cancer. This should, however, not be a substitute for breast milk among newborns.

2. Egg

A chicken's egg contains carotenoids in the form of lutein and zeaxathin which are good for the eyes. Egg yolks contain long-chain omega-3 fatty acids called docosahexaenoic acids (DHA), which are good for the brain and eyes, and arachidonic acid, which makes your skin healthy. Egg yolks are good for your heart and when eaten raw, it increases stamina and resistance to health.

3. Coconut Juice

Juice from coconut is rich in minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, manganese and magnesium. Its high potassium content, which is two times higher than that of a banana, prevents high blood pressure.

4. Tomato

Many consider tomato as a vegetable but it is actually a fruit. Tomato consists of lycopene which is a powerful anti-oxidant. Lycopene has been considered a potential agent for preventing different types of cancers, particularly prostate cancer. No other fruits have higher concentration of lycopene except tomato.

The yellow-orange flesh of a winter squash consists of plenty of nutrients such as vitamins A, B12, B3, B6 and C, and important minerals such as manganese, potassium, fiber and folic acid. Above all, it works as an anti-inflammatory agent and purifies the blood.
